Mikie's Birthday Presents, 2004

Stuff for my honey for her upcoming birthday!

Mikie's birthday is coming up on the 19'th of this month and I wanted to get her something really cool. There was a really great easel called a Santa Fe II down at Texas Art Supply. I know she liked it a bunch because we had looked at easels together about a month ago. So I picked one up for her. Also, I went by a really cool French Impressionism Art gallery and bought her a painting done by the resident artist. It is a reproduction of a painting called "The Orange Trees," by Gustave Caillebotte. The original by Caillebotte was painted in 1878. It is oil on canvas. The name of the artist that painted this reproduction for me is William Whitney. The address of the gallery is:

Gallerie Mado Chalvet
1706 Westheimer
Houston, TX 77098
713-522-0475

So here is a front view of Mikie's new easel with the painting sitting on it.

And here is a side view of the easel and painting.
